This presentation explores how the sacramental life of the Church—especially through the Eucharist—can create belonging with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Drawing the work of thinkers like Thomas Aquinas and John Calvin, I consider Universal Design for Learning (UDL) how this framework might form us, welcomes us, and invites all of us—regardless of ability—into deeper into the life of God through the sacrament of the Eucharist.
